A sequel to the original Delta Force, it was released in 1999. It was re-released in 2009 and released on Steam. You play as a member of the US Army’s elite special operations unit, Delta Force. Your mission is to combat terrorism anywhere in the world.
Delta Force II uses the same game engine as its predecessor, Voxelspace. The graphics have been improved to provide players with a more immersive experience. While not as good as they are now, they still perform well compared to the original version.
Gameplay and Controls:
As mentioned in the introduction, you play as a member of the US Army’s Delta Force 2 Torrent. You will be tasked with participating in missions around the world. The game is primarily outdoors and features plenty of gunplay.
To make the game more realistic, the developers have modified the gameplay so that the wind determines the direction of your shots. Players are also vulnerable to enemy damage, so caution is advised while playing. To make eliminating an enemy easier, it’s best to approach them stealthily.
You’ll typically be parachuted into your location before completing a mission. Players are allowed to use a variety of weapons during missions. You must choose a sidearm, a secondary weapon, and a primary weapon. Some missions will require you to carry additional equipment.
