The game features over 150 playable characters and more than 30 stages; recurring elements from its predecessor, Budokai Tenkaichi 2, such as Blast Stocks and Ki Gauges. Each version of the game has an exclusive mode: while the Wii version has online mode via Wi-Fi, the PlayStation 2 version has the Disc Fusion System, which allows access to new levels from previous games, while also compensating for the lack of the former.

This ROM hack, which includes French voices and the anime’s OST, unfortunately does not fully include all the game’s modes. The modes that include French voices are Dragon World Tour, Duel, and especially Dragon History. Due to the fact that Budokai Tenkaichi 3 includes “special” passages during free battles, some lines, such as “Son Goku (Elementary) VS Vegeta (Detector”), are translated into French.
Over 150 playable characters, improved fighting techniques, beautifully improved effects, and shading techniques, which make each character’s effects more realistic, and over 20 battle stages all contribute to the extreme 3D fighting experience provided by Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, which improves on last year’s games in many ways. This is the final chapter of the Budokai Tenkaichi series, and it features over twenty new characters that have never appeared in any other Dragon Ball Z video game. Some of these characters include Nill, King Cold, and King Vegeta, and there will be battle stages that fans will love.
