Your adventure begins in Area 05, an evacuated zone located in southeastern Finland. There you’ll find shelters, traders, missions, and initial loot to help you survive. Your peaceful life in Area 05 is frequently disrupted by hostile bandits, an anarchist group that takes advantage of the lack of authority in the area. Once you’ve gathered enough loot and equipment, your journey continues east, where you’ll find the Border Zone, a guarded border between Finland and Russia. Each Border Zone map has a crossing point with different challenges. Some crossing points may include mines or physical obstacles, while others require the use of waterways with boats.
