In New Horizons, you control a customizable character who moves to a deserted island after purchasing a vacation package from the infamous raccoon tycoon, Tom Nook. The game starts slowly with limited options as you work to pay off your initial debts to Tom Nook. But as you progress, you gain the ability to shape the island, place buildings and ramps, create roads, plant flowers, decorate both interiors and exteriors, collect numerous furniture sets, and place animal villagers. New Horizons offers unprecedented freedom to shape the island as you wish. The game’s core gameplay loop features relaxing daily routines such as fishing, bug hunting, fossil digging, gathering fruit and materials, talking to villagers, and checking shops. The charming writing style and cute animations make even repetitive tasks fun and rewarding. And there’s always something new to discover or work on.
While New Horizons can be played solo, it truly comes alive when played online with friends and family. You can visit each other’s islands, leave messages, trade items, and showcase your creativity. How to Install it?
- There is no functional difference between Switch NSP and XCI formats. Both formats run the same way on emulators.
- On a modified Nintendo Switch system, the file can be installed using Tinfoil (recommended) or DBI Installer.
- If you encounter a “too many requests” error, try again after a few minutes.
