Inside Mount Massive Asylum, in the isolated Colorado mountains, horrors await. The “research and charity” division of the multinational Murkoff Corporation recently reopened the long-abandoned mental health facility, which had been run in tight secrecy up until this point. Independent journalist Miles Upshur enters the facility after receiving a tip from an unnamed source, and what he finds blurs the boundaries between faith and science, nature and something else entirely.
