Background of the Game
On the continent of Elios, every 1000 years, the divine dragon Alièr awakens to defeat the evil dragon Sombron. It does this by gathering the scattered Emblem Rings across the land. These rings contain the souls of legendary heroes from ages past and grant tremendous power to the wearer. Alièr bears the Maf ring and journeys with its guardians across neighboring countries, uniting against their common foe.
Overall, the storyline is quite engaging and immerses you in the game’s adventures. Excitement also comes from the return of old faces in the form of iconic heroes. Fire Emblem Engage ROM is a standalone storywise; you don’t need to have played previous titles to know who these characters are and what has transpired; everything is clearly presented in this game.
The gameplay has many changes
As mentioned, it focuses on core tactical and action elements of gameplay, resource management, and team development, while also introducing some other improvements.
